Thanks Ken- The Supreme 2 & 4 doors & vert's only/all had OLDSMOBILE that way. I had some hopes I could save the old girl after i got it, the cool factor is there, 350 4-V auto, tilt away split armrest bench, AC, P/Trunk, interior is really something, non factory cruise...but then I got it up in the air and saw the cancer, too far gone. A real shame.

70sgeek- Yes it is Scott, and I have at least one spare, will get you pic's & quote over the weekend hopefully.
Thanks Tom, you should see the core support- battery tray area it's perfect. Oh well

prices permitting (and if they work), I'd possibly be interested in the power trunk release setup and trunk light assembly (along with the their associated wiring harnesses and the trunk release button). Is the trunk light a mercury switch unit?
If shipping hadn't been involved, might have be interested in the whole trunk lid setup, but sheetmetal and shipping don't typically mix well
thanks

Lid & release
'Geek, if I decide the P/T release is for sale another member has dibs, but I will put you in 2nd
I can get a Fastenal logistics quote for the deck lid, usually $100 for that size item. I will check the switch out either way for you

Terry I will consider selling them, to you, as I know you've been on the Quest for quite a long time.
Would am Armored Brinks Truck with security detail be sufficient?

I bought a truck for the collection last month, but it was not a Brinks truck and it had no money in it....

that'll work!
When convenient, please let me know on the trunk light assembly as well - if it's a working mercury switch type with clean harness attached, I might be interested in that as well.
For payment, if you'd like paypal, just PM me your info. Can also send you a check if preferred.
thanks!

1969 was the last year of the mercury type trunk switch for Oldsmobile. They were electric powered lights from '70 onward. If Brett does not have the Mercury type switch you are looking for I do.

Nice Jimmy
I like the truck. Don't see too many Titans (Chevy version was Titan but not sure if the Jimmy version had the same name). Power unit...2 stroker? Do you belong to ATCA or ATHS?

Thanks for the offer Scottland. But ummm, aren't most modern automotive forms of illumination Electric?

Illuminati
Geek, I do have a few of the 69' & prior Dole Hockey puck lamps like these, the two pictured are 69 & before on left & 70 &up right, the 69 is also seen installed in the other shot. Which style do you prefer?

I just assumed they were still the mercury switch units since my '72 Skylark ragtop had one from factory install.
the electric units with the moving arm are re-popped now complete with harness for about $60
Let me think on that over the weekend - will still take the column shift lever though.
thanks

Hey Joe, Nice to see you. Yeah I've been dancing around what to do with it, and when I made the decision to part it, those were one item I felt already had a good home waiting.

Costpenn - I heard you were going to MCACN with Patton Glade. I was able to meet up with him there but I don't think we met. Hopefully next time. I always enjoy meeting my forum friends.

Terry I am ready to sell them, but in the spirit of full disclosure, did you see in the pic I posted the passenger side split at where passengers' right toes would be, about 5" long, but repairable. On the driver side there are a couple lefthand outboard splits 3/8-1/2", and a crescent shaped divot off the leading edge about behind/below gas pedal. I can send you higher res close ups if you wish.
Let me know your thoughts.

Brett, is the steering wheel still available? Any chance you can post a pic of the back side - looking for cracks, esp. where the spokes meet the wheel. I just need a driver. mine's trash. Thanks - mark

Steering Wheel
Sorry for the tardy reply, been on the road for work past couple weeks and just got home. Here are the pics I have now for another wheel I have, don't currently have any reverse views of the wheel in the car.
