14x6 SSI wheel for disc brakes
In looking through my stash of wheels for a forum member, I discovered this supposedly "very rare" (per the Oldsmobility site) 1969-only 14x6" Super Stock I wheel. One only - in very good condition, appears straight & true, no dents or rust. Chrome will polish up very nicely. Lug holes are round & uniform, not tore up.
It does have what appears to be a 69 date code (M49) and the number 810, as opposed to the drum brake wheels with 795.
Not too sure what these go for, but since it is very nice and a rare bird, I want $100 + shipping from zip 14075 (Buffalo, NY area). Feel free to make an offer if you have a need for this.

Not really necessary. The 810 tells us it is the late '69 Olds disc brake SSI. No doubt there. The rim codes are there to be able to id them with the tires on. Announced in an April 1969 bulletin, and not used in 1970. So that is about a quarter of a year production. So there can't be too many of them out there. (I have about 3 sets I've collected over the years. My '69 442 came with them.)

My '69 came with them as well (mid-May '69 production date). What is the date on that wheel? It should be on the back side of the rim, I believe opposite of where the valve stem is on the outside. You may have to run some fine steel wool around the edge of the inner rim to find the date code. I'm looking for an LY wheel dated 5 14.
