The 1111978 fits vista cruiser and many big olds applications

I'm not sure about the 1971 Olds distributors, but i know that 1112033 part is correct for my '72 with 455 4v.

what is the date code for the 1111978 distributor and I assume its complete?

They used the 1112033 for both 71 and 72. 1 E 10 would be May 10th,1971,so it was likely used on an early 72.

978 is 0A6 complete and looks good, the 2033 would be and early 72.
