Correct supreme grill color

Im repairing my 1970 supreme grills instead of getting repros. I was hoping someone has already found a matching color from krylon or somebody else that would work

the krylon 'dull aluminum' paint is a close match to the tailight silver. I *think* the grill is similar to the taillight silver.

X2 krylon dull aluminium almost perfect match. If you do the grills do the plastic headlight surrounds also. They will look brand new.

looks like the dull aluminum only comes as an interior paint not the fusion

here's the end result of my grill repair. think they came out pretty good and not only saved money but saved the original grills. the dull aluminum looks great.

looks like they came out really great and the dull aluminum looks great. Someone posted up in another thread that supercars has a grill paint that looks very similar to the dull aluminum...the concern w the krylon is its interior rated. My tails have been on the car ~3 years painted with the krylon w no issues, but realsitically most of that 3 years was in the garage and except for washes and cruising the paint isnt really put to the test.

Was the PC-11 easy to sand and work with? Ive never heard of it but it looks like it should work out good in this application I may pick some up

That was my concern too with the krylon but we'll see how it goes when I get back on the road (someday). Still want to hand paint the horizontal pieces in the back the black color there supposed to be.
The PC-11 sanded pretty good once it finally hardens. It is very flexible until it dries so it can be shaped and reshaped until then. it took mine about a 4 days until I was satisfied with the hardness. I used finishing putty to get it the way I wanted it.
