For the following areas that have black paint, what sheens (gloss, semi, satin, flat) are correct?
Headlight trim recesses
Firewall
Inner fender/wheel wells
tail light recess in quarter panel/"OLDSMOBILE" script bar on trunk
Radiator core support
Thanks

I think this is kind of a trick question, that's why nobody's answered. I don't know 67 Olds for sure, but I know 60's 70's GM in general. Nothing I can think of under the hood was flat. Not much was gloss. Things like the core support were typically semi, satin, eggshell, lots of different names for the shades of black. The parts were painted at separate times and sprayed or dipped at different temperatures, heats, paint batches, etc. Also underhood heat has changed some of the colors. Radiators are typically glossier than the core support, horns are typically glossier than radiators. You can get some variation from the same color by spraying distance or thickness of coats. Most things were like 80% or so, gloss. See what others say.
