Remanufactured mirror

Remanufactured mirror

Any answer to getting paint to stick to reman. mirror. Body shop tried 4 times. PPG paint.

Are those plastic or metal? If they are metal then a light etch from 80 grit in a blast cabinet, waterborne cleaner, and then epoxy primer.

Plastic would also benefit from a light etch in 80 grit also followed by waterborne cleaner and then epoxy primer.

I guess I'd do the same procedure on either material. Some of those cheap plastics can be problematic.
