Code 43

Anyone familiar with the code 43 color?? Ive made my mind up to do this color.....

But when I Google all the code 43 colors....they dnt look anything like this......they look rather dull.....any suggestions on trying to imitate that color (in the link) to a T?

I had my guy at sherwin williams make me a gallon a few weeks ago. He went off pieces of my car that had original paint. No formulas for it anymore. Even asked the dupont suppliers in town and they said same thing. I painted my go kart first then the real thing next.gokart1.jpg

they made these originally for the shriners years ago.ashley jones in Michigan has one and had some bodies reproduced.he can also get hurst olds deals.i had a friend make mine. i mated it to a modern day chassis.the company that originally made them just went out of business this year.i think he has more to sell.

I know this is an old post, but any idea how to find this ashley jones person?

a quick google search found nothing....

but did find this image of a pace car go kart.
