air cleaner paint

Need some help, the air cleaner and the whole metal section that holds ths the hood latch on my 1972 Cutlass were at some point painted flat black. Can anyone tell me what the right color is, is it just gloss black?

My original air cleaner was semigloss black.

semigloss black. I have found SEM "trim paint" black to be a good match for GM engine bay paint for the 70s/ 80s
