1970 washer bottle options

I would like clarification on what is (or are) the correct window washer resevoir bottles for the 1970 Cutlass'. Depending on the vendor, there seem to be two variances. One is all plastic typically mounted to the right fender well and the second is a more squarish bottle in a steel mount cage. My '70 Cutlass wagon came equipped with the one featured in my photo. I have seen many cars have both versions, but wonder if maybe they were added later. Thanks for your professional insight.

All '70 Cutlasses had an opaque white one either on driver or pass. wheel well.
The one in your picture looks like a Chevy unit or at least not Oldsmobile of that era.

I've seen this bottle and bracket before, but on a full size car.

I believe it was mounted on the left fender well, but it has been 14+ years since the disassembly. I have the bottle in my pile of wagon stuff, but noticed that it is very different from many I've seen at shows. I reckon when I get to that point of reassembly, I'll make it right again. It was probably modified many years before I ever took possession. The hardest part about doing a restoration (besides the cost), is deciphering and repairing all of the previous "repairs".

No 1968-72 Cutlass ever used a washer bottle with a bracket. As noted above, all of them bolted directly to the inner fender with three screws.
