"Look, these parades you throw are very expensive. You using my police, my sanitation people, and my new Oldsmobiles free of charge. So, if you mention extortion again, I'll have your legs broken."

Mayor Carmine DePasto, owner of DePasto Oldsmobile.

One of the Mid Atlantic Chapter guys had a couple of plastic license frames made up for his 63 Dynamic 88- "DePasto Oldsmobile, Faber". Amazing how many people caught on to it.

Some other movies where an Olds makes an appearance:

The Brady Bunch Movie
A brief shot, but check out Mike Brady’s blue Cutlass convertible – I believe it’s a ’72.

Beverly Hills Cop II
While in Beverly Hills, Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) drives a beautiful red ’68 Cutlass convertible with a white interior.

Used Cars
When filming a commercial for a used car lot, the proprietors feature a red Delta 88, a ’71 or ’72.

National Lampoon's Vacation
Clark trades in a '69 or '70 Vista Cruiser for the Family Truckster. I hated to see it go into the crusher.

Watched a horror movie last night- "Wind Chill". Had a ratty early 80s Cutlass sedan which didn't figure too prominently in the plot, but was the car the protagonists were in.

Movie was kinda hard to follow, really, plus mostly filmed in the dark. Seems like I saw George Clooney had something to do with production.

Anybody ever watch the movie "A Perfect World" with Clint Eastwood and Kevin Costner. I think if my memory serves correctly a beautiful '65 Vista gets a lot of air time...

For the Highlander fans check the first season. There is a late seventies silver fastback cutlass that gets wrecked in I think the first four episodes.

Don't think anyone's mentioned Karate Kid 2. Pretty sure its a 442 or it could be a supreme been so long since I've seen the movie. I just remember Danielson getting to drive one.

I saw "Dallas Buyer's Club" at the Arclight in West L.A. last week. The movie takes place in the mid 80s, Matthew McConaughey is in a parking lot and there is a quick shot of a 76 Cutlass he walks in front of near the beginning of the movie.

Barneby Jones, Cannon and Adam 12 always show an Oldsmobile when driving thru the cities. Fun to watch the old 60/70 shows and look for an oldsmobile.

I can't believe you people forgot Bullit

Typical of Hollywood supplying their actors with 390 Mustangs which have exhaust leaks and no positraction.
Here, have some homework:

Woody Harrelson must like the Oldsmobiles.

I was looking at this ebay listing which said it's in the movie "Out of the Furnace" coming out in December

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oldsmobile-4...US_Cars_Trucks

If you look at about 2:15 of this trailer you can barely see it

https://www.google.com/#q=out+of+the+furnace

The least they could have done was give it 442 trim

Last few movies I saw had Olds in them. Kill the Irishman had a 442 in the ends scene parking lot and Death Wish 4 had a Trofeo Bronson drives in the parking garage destroyed.

Fyi

There is a 1985 442 in the movie "Four Brothers" starring Mark Walberg.

There were actually three cars used in the movie. The one they wreck was mine. I sold it to the movie set. The film is set in Detroit but was filmed in Toronto. When I sold that car it went to Toronto from Calgary on the train. They had to dye the interior to match the color of the other two cars. Had I known that they were going to destroy it I would have swapped out the 8.5" posi for a 7.5" open before I shipped it. The main car from the show is around & has been for sale on Craigslist for the past year.
