VIN decoder & option list

I am new to the list, and revamping my 1965 Dynamic 88 conv. My father bought it in 1983, and restored it in 1985. It's now got 63,000 miles on it, and needs some work. It's sat indoors most of it's life.

The question is, is there anyway of knowing history of it based on VIN or any other method to see what options it has, and where it originated from? Since it was fully restored in the past, I doubt any build sheets are hidden anywhere.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Unlike Pontiac, Olds did not retain build data. The build sheet is your only option unless the car was built or originally sold in Canada.

Theron, you can check out the 'Vin Decoder' web site unless you have already. It will give some information, but not much of a history. Good luck.
