Timing light recommendations

Shopping around for a timing light. I have borrowed one from a friend in the past. It was an older Snap On Advance unit and worked fine but now want to get one for myself. There are many options for these both new and used and prices range anywhere from $25.00-$450.00 depending? Im looking for any advice or recommendations on brand, capabilities, warranties, serviceability etc... Thx

Buy an adjustable timing light, I have an antique craftsman that I bought back in the 70's. You can find them on ebay, periodically.
