Fuel pump

Fuel pump

Have what may be a stupid question I pulled engine down for rebuilding can't remember if fuel pump goes in with fuel line connection faces up or down its a 71 350 4 barrel

You really should. It will make your life easier, especially since you're completely disassembling and rebuilding your motor.

I guess I do I sent it out to be rebuilt I'm just putting it back together thnx

Should have a polished area where the lobe rides on the arm, that also would be a clue... Tedd

How can it go any other way? It's spring loaded, and if you put it in upside down it wouldn't touch the eccentric. Not to mention that you'd never be able to hook up the stock fuel lines again.
