1961 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible Cowl Tag Decoder????
Does anyone know of a website to decode the cowl tag for a 1961 Starfire Convertible. I have attached a photos of mine but can't find where the complete decoding for the ACC, TRIM etc... I also have the engine number as well if someone could help me I would really Appreciate the help!!!

Don't worry, there's a number of people on here who can decipher these things. Someone will respond soon I'm sure.
One thing I do know is that the "03B" refers to the 2nd week ("B") of March ("03") as the build date for the car. So it was built in March 1961.

3667 - Starfire 2dr convertible
LA - Lansing, MI assembly plant
1652 - 1,652nd convertible body
934 - trim
N - Cordovan Mist Metallic
493 - accessory

Hurst68olds ---Thanks for the information. Do you happen to know if the Accessory code of 493 is for the headlight dimmer option? I have gone through this car and it seems that that is the only thing I can think of that was not standard on the 1961 Starfire's was the headlight dimmer and this one has it....any ideas? Thanks

From the information I have 493 is the code for both options D1 and D3 which are electric antenna and bi-phonic speaker system. This is from the '62 codes which I assume are the same for '61. I have not seen a similar list for '61.
