hi,was wondering if there is any reason I can,t get a thunder bird ,9 inch, and make it fit my starfire , so I can have the option to have a better choice of gear ratios.any info , or coments , would be appreciated , thank you. will.

Your 65 full size should have a Pontiac 8.875" axle. There is actually a surprising amount of support for that axle through Fabcraft Metalworks.

I believe 3:23 was standard. I might have 3:08 gears for that.
