You can get a rebuilt replacement the same as yours. An Edelbrock will bolt right in as they are both a square bore. What is yours doing that you suspect its bad?

starfire carb

I feel like it makes engine have rough idle , also it bangs into gear, and I have bought 2 new master cylinders and 2 new power boosters, and brake pedal is hard as a rock , both times , and I heard that a bad carb can cause a vacuum leak I checked the vacuum ,and it wwas 20 pounds, , I appreciate the help, thanks again for the help. will

The transmission banging may be caused by the vacuum modulator failing or its connected to ported vacuum. It needs manifold vacuum to work properly. Engine vacuum is measured in inches and 20 is very good. Have you ruled out the vacuum check valve at the booster for the brake issue?

will check modulater, and valve at booster, have seen that they have pressure tanks in jegs, was also thinking of trying that, it just seems strang I could get two brake boosters and masterr cyl, that are no good, I forgot to mention that the brake will work all right now and then, any way thanks very much for the help ,will
