'64 P. Brake booster finish

Folks, this might be somewhere on the forum already, but did the brake boosters in '64 have the yellow zinc chromate ("cad") from the factory? Mine's rusty looking silver nowadays. If so, what else was "yellow" from the factory? It seems some of the older ones were silverish looking when new. Not sure when the yellow thing started...
Appreciated!

Not sure on 64 but on my 63 there were two different boosters used, Bendix and Delco-Moraine, with two different master cylinders. Can't remember which I had but when I had it rebuilt by Booster Dewey it was replated in yellow cad.

Thanks, Dan. Yeah, mine are Moraine. There's not a trace of gold left on the booster, but that's not tough to understand after this long...
