I NEED COMPLETE ADDRESS PLEASE PM/ TO CANADIAN RESIDENTS, I WILL GO TO THE UPS STORE THIS WEEK TO GET QUOTES

$25.00 is what they are selling for, not trying to take advantage of anybody but I think a couple of bucks for my time/gas is reasonable plus the $ for shipping?

FYI looks like they are running low maybe a dozen on hand at the branch closest to me. TO CLARIFY $25 IS WHAT MY BANK IS GETTING FOR THEM SO $27.00 PLUS FREIGHT!

Pat

The union locals were selling the Bldg. 70 marble and the fisher bricks; might still have some.

So I'm curious about these bricks since I know nothing about them, lol..... what were their purpose? Did they put them in the walls or something? Can someone explain to me??

bricks

Sandy, to the best my knowledge these bricks were cut from planters/ retaining walls at building 70 AKA Olds administration building in Lansing, case in point my avatar is showing building 70 in the background. This has been fenced off for some time!

These buildings are nicknamed the ivory towers due to the marble that was used to erect.

Oh!! Well that's pretty cool, lol. I wasn't understanding the history of the bricks, I guess. That's a nice looking building - thanks for the pics. It's sad that they're all closed down. Every time I drive by the Chrysler building here in Twinsburg, it's sad. They've almost got it completely demolished. An era gone by, I guess.....

bricks

Demand is out stripping supply! Made 3 trips for total of 10, As of now trying to recover the funds before the wife kills me! Again I have running list of people who want them, the list longer than the supply.

I have not received mine yet. UPS says tomorrow, so I have no worries. However, shipping to Canada seems really confusing to UPS. My brick has changed hands many time.

I like that it passed through Lansing on its way to me. I look forward to seeing it soon.

Adam, you are right, well traveled, must be UPS tries to keep the package from getting bored by letting it travel while it clears customs?
I have the same quote for 8-3-12 delivery.

I bought one at Homecoming back in 09. I have the Red Rocket one (mid 80's style)

It's sitting on my bookcase and it doesn't move! I afarid to use it as a display piece thinking it will get stolen or broken. If that happens this would be me ---->
