Having a hard time finding replacement hood springs for a 1955 Super 88 does anyone have any idea where to find these? now days. Found a set, as a matter of fact I have 2 Sets one on car and one extra set Vapco #563139 that replaces GM 568683 I have the extra set in the for sale section of Classic Oldsmobile.

I've got a used set of hood hinges with springs if that will work for you. If you just want new springs read through this thread:

Thanks for the reply, my hinges are fine the springs are weak, I think I will give the century spring a try and see if they will do the job. Thanks again if I have success I will leave a post. Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday and a great New Year.
