Assistance please
Good evening,
We have recently rescued a 1955 Olds Super 88 Holiday (or so we think) and are in need of decoding the identification numbers we have found thus far. Here is what we have found and where. If you can help us decode and give location information of other numbers/information we might find, it would be greatly appreciated.
Left Front Door Pillar - Vehicle Identification Number =
OLDMSOBILE
557K10684
Right Front of the cowl area (hood sil) - Trim Tag =
Oldsmobile Division General Motors Corporation
Lansing, Michigan
Style No 55-3637
Body No BK 4536
Trim No 341
Paint S5160
TOP ACC. K1
Body by Fisher
Thanks in advance for your help or direction to resources and always please drive safe!

Here it goes..55 =1955 model year 7 = 88 Series K = built at Kansas City plant and 10684 was the production number . The production numbers started with 01001 ( meaning 01001 was the first car built at a particular plant ) The other numbers I have no idea about - it gives paint info and other general info

Thank you so much. Its a great start!
We will get some photos up as soon as we have some sunshine and can get some decent pics.
We are hoping to find some sort of books that may have the codes from the Trim Tag explained.
Anyone else that may have any ideas, please add. THANKS!!!

Yes, very lucky as we are from KC as well.
We really think this car has been in MO all its life. Sure would be neat to see if there was a way to track the title on it throughout its 53 years of life.
As far as the style # goes, we think we have figured out the following based on putting some different websites with pieces of info together
55 - year
36 - 88 model
37 - 2-door Hard Top
Thanks again and any more assistance anyone has is very welcome.
