4 bbl Ferd carb.

I know some of us use different modes of transportation other than oldsmobiles
so I thought I would offer this carb up if someone needed one.

That's very cool. I didn't know FoMoCo used a spread bore carburetor. GLWS.

Thanks, Adam. Why is it called a Ferd carb?

Thanks for the "forward". It is a Motorcraft model 4350 from 1975 to 1978 and, by the linkage appears to be for one of the 460 equipped trucks. If the owner had included the tag number a better ID could have been had.

Thanks. That clears it up. The D6TE NA part means it was a 1976 model from an F-150, F-250, or F-350 with a 460 engine originally sold outside of California, beginning with serial number A50,001.

Those Motorcraft carbs are no where near as good as the Qjet. I think the 4350 is a better carb than the 4300 and only came on the 460. They run very lean and any tuning for performance is out the window. That said, these are rare and that is in nice shape, somebody buy it.
