68 Gimpala Chevy Impala rear bumper 1968

Hi, not sure your still looking for input on chevy rear end... I have '75 Delta w/455 and 4L80e and 71-76 full size chevy rear end. Direct bolt in. I originally had Type O rear-end w/2.56 position and couldn't find better gear set. Running 3.42 posi now.
4L80e works great but requires computer and slightly shorter driveshaft. I'm using gm computer out of 95 1 ton chevy van with TBI from 95 chevy 454, '90 Olds HEI and '95 Park Avenue instrument cluster. Stock computer runs TBI, 4L80e, HEI, AC fans, fuel pump and instrument cluster. Cranks and runs like newer car but still looks original to 99%.
