Welcome to CO from the left coast

Glad you have you with us. But I do have a question. Why not an Olds 455. A much simpler install then the Buick 455 and you will remain all Olds.

Welcome to the site, I moved this to the non Olds engine section where you might get some help. I would think you would have to treat it like an Apollo.

It did have an olds 455 in it but it ended up with a crack in the block so i went with a buick 455 mostly because i couldnt pass up the deal. I like that low end torque it cranks out too. It is a pain getting into the omega only because everything is sorta switched around, fuel pump wiring starter and distributor. Any idea where to get emblems for this omega?

Welcome to the sight! The omegas are not very common, that body style was only produced for 73-74. If you want emblems for the omega keep an eye out on ebay, or start searching wrecking yards. Also you are the boss, but I would sell the buick motor and get an olds motor in it, the oldsmobile community is very serious about the oldsmobile engine, and most of the value is taken away from that car with something other than an olds in it. I am currently building a 455 6 speed omega as we speak! best of luck on your project!
