Pics of Dad's T-Bird!

Here are some pics of my dad's T-Bird...was a total! Replaced a qtr panel and put a used rear bumper, lights, etc......this is still a work in progress. I have a very low "wing" I still have to paint and install before spring. We are also installing new coil overs to drop the car an inch and a half all the way around. We have since installed 18X9 mustang cobra R's with BFG G-Force rubber all around. I will try and get some pics that are up to date to this point. Still have a borla exhaust left to install. I will be customizing the rear bumper cover to add "trumpet" tips....yes indeed.....I believe if done correctly, will fit very nicely on this car!

Was able to take some updated pics today....the first is the V8 graphic I designed and had a friend make up in vinyl. He wanted a american flag somewhere on the car, so I incorporated it in the emblem! Also a nod to the corvette with the checkered flag. I painted the car in black and Corvette Atomic Orange, therefore the flag. The V8 was a nod to the old Ford logo...

I extended the two tone into the door jambs! The green stripe is Kawasaki Green....

I also brought the black around the grille, into the front bumper, trying to give the car a "beak"....

Yeah Eddie, I found some place online that does them in stainless, ordered a set, and they are a work of art! I will have to half moon cut the rear rienforcement and bottom of bumper to pull it off....probably should have done it before painting it... also, will look much better dropped an inch or two!

Erik
the paint job is really nice and the logo is very cool... some H&R lowering springs would finish it off right.

Erik I bet that is going to be stressful cutting that bumper, but tons of cars come with duals nowadays and a lot have a chrome bumper 'bezel' or surround if you will that will probably finish off the half moon cuts nicely can't wait to see where you take it from here
