Cutlass build update
#3
Thank you. I will keep updating pictures as I go, I have not had a chance to lay paint down yet. My Wife's Suburban needed brakes and a radiator so that took priority over the Cutlass, it is a 2000 2500 so it is no fun to work on.

I'm all for modding......if the mod's are effective.
I'd start over with the air cleaner(s) If you bought that as a kit, I'd return it.
To me, it looks like you/they attempted a dual cold air intake but ran out of pipe.
Or whomever designed it, didn't do a very good job.
It's too short, and not going to net you the cold air it looks like you were
shooting for especially hanging right over the headers.
Go for something like the older Hurst Olds used instead. FAR MORE effective.
