Hello, and welcome to the world of classic cars. In here, most of the people who own cars try to keep at least the same brand of engine in them as they are, and we definitely do that here.

You should consider an Oldsmobile 455 for that Delta 88, it will be more fun, and you can keep your Olds all Olds.

Welcome to the site. You'll need engine mounts, frame pads, may have to move trans xmember, drive shaft depending on transmission, and some minor wiring changes due to the starter being on the other side of the engine and the location of the gauge senders. If you don't have all the accy brackets for the 400, you'll need them also. It would be far easier to go with an Olds engine.

Joe is correct With one exception. The stock original radiator should work just fine.

I was thinking the Chevy radiator had different inlet/outlet configuration, but that's the extent of my Chebby knowledge...

Joe, Your knowledge is amazing. Baffling sometimes how much wisdom or at least access to the research documentation you have. I appreciate it so very much.

Take care fellow Olds Nut
