68 Lemans 350 engine

All 1968 350 LeMans and Tempest and Firebirds in 68 both two barrel and four barrel (HO) engines the only automatic was the two speed (ST300) BOP version similar to a PG (same 1.76/1.1 ratio but BOP bell and TH input shaft spline same as TH350/TH400 basically) Only the 400 engine Firebird and GTO got the TH400 besides the B body cars in 68. 1969 was when you could get a 3 spd auto behind a 350

Just to clarify, other than the fact that it has two speeds and the same gear ratios, the ST300 has exactly nothing in common with the PG. No parts interchange. The Pontiac version was fixed stall speed, not switch pitch. OK, technically, all 68-69 ST300s were fixed stall speed, but the 67-older Pontiac versions were also fixed whereas Buick and Olds used the switch pitch for 64-67.
