I've seen the fauxmobile covers for 49-54 Olds, some from Ecklers:

I don't know of any adapter kits. The only thing I have seen are the 49-50 valve covers made to fit a SBC. Those are the ones with the wire looms on top of the valve covers. I don't remember who sells them.
