I don't get it. I have a new all forged 370 iron block LS with cnc ported heads, headers, exhaust, fuel system, brand new built 4l80 with a 2800 stall converter, new rebuilt 8.5" 10 bolt with posi and 3.73's, full UMI performance front and rear suspension including springs and shocks, new gauges, improved brakes, and 18" wheels and tires on my 71 Cutlass and i am just under $20k including the car purchase. Granted i dont have show paint or custom interior but i dont know how these restomods are going for over $50k. There just isnt that much there.

It helps that i bought the car for $5000 10 years ago with nice driver quality paint. I lucked across the car when i came to good bones, southern car with no rust ever... In all the work i have done i havent run into one rusted bolt, very unheard of for the midwest. The rest was doable for under 15k, just took a lot of work.
