gauge options for 68 cutlass with ECM/OBD2

Do any of you have your gauges running off the data from the ECM? Looks like most of the aftermarket gauges don't fit the 68 dash. I'm hoping to find a simple retrofit option.

Thanks. The speed hut website looks promising. What diameter did you purchase (4")?
Are you also running the tach in the right hand pod?

No tach, but that's where I would have put it. Mine is a cruiser, don't really need a tach. I used 3 3/8", as the 4" wouldn't mount to the clock blanks... too large.

So I ended up using SpeedHut's CanBus 4" gauges. They worked great.
I ended up installing them directly into the original Olds gauge buckets with the original retainers (not the original glass). These things fit perfectly. I installed a Speedo with blinker and highbeam indicators in the center pod, and a tach in the right. I also used a small triple gauge pack under the dash with a temp, oil pressure, and volts. Both the speedo and tach fit into a gauge bucket from an idiot light pod (the small one). Everything works directly off the OBD port. A very easy install.

And they a look good also. Nice work.

Seems like every car setup these days I see are using tacky white faced gauges mounted to a flat plate with no character at all. They do such a nice job modifying their cars and the dash is just blah.

Duh, I didn't think about using the actual gauge housing. I used the clock blanks instead, which precluded using 4" gauges.

You have a good looking conversion!

Nice gauges! I had a set of Speed Hut gauges in my '72 for a year or two and they were great.
