Go and Low 1967 LS
#2
I wrote more in my original post but lost it when I posted. So much easier to post with phone. I dug out my turquoise 98 for the first time in over a year. I cleaned her up and took some pictures of the both of them. I've been thinking of selling both of them. Even though I feel great and I stay active at 65 one never knows when the wheels can come off. I say that jokingly but it's true. So, I'm thinking of selling but on my terms and time frame. Both cars have desirable engines at least in my opinion. The turquoise LS has a 455 engine, thirty over with big valve heads. There's a lot of work in the drive train. The car has run 14:18@100 mph. Price on the turquoise is $7000. The grey LS has a great running C headed 400 E engine. This engine has been in the car since 1968/1969. Imo, both engines have as much value as the cars. I had the grey one at the Carnation Mall Oldsmobile show last Sunday in the for sale area. Price was $8000, a little high but one never knows how bad someone might want a 400 E engine plus they would get a nice 98. I have B heads available also. I'm firm on that price. I always figured I'd buy a 442 with an non correct engine and if I remove the 400 I may. Being retired and having a two post lift and 350 Olds engines available, they would be good winter projects. The clientel I would sell these cars to aren't interested in the Olds family of engines. I'll just tell they got the "rocket" engine in them. If someone is interested in these engines you'll have to buy the cars. After I pull them they aren't for sale.

Those are some nice comfy cruisers and looking good too.
Good luck in what ever happens. Hopefully the wheels stay on for a good long time.
Someone will enjoy them when you decide. They don't suck that much gas and ride like a couch, haul the family and all their stuff in the trunk. That is still cool to me.
