79 regency coupe BARN FIND!!
A couple years back I made the decision to sell my 69 cutlass. Knowing I would eventually replace her, I had a couple cars in mind. One of them in fact was the 77 - 79 2Dr recency 98. Why? My father had a black 78 when I was growing up and he taught me a lot with that car. A lot of family memories. Well fast forward to a couple weeks back, I was on Craigslist looking around and stumbled across this black 79 Regency for sale that has been in the barn for 20 years. I said to myself before clicking on the ad please let this be a four door because financially I was nowhere near ready for another project. Lo and behold as fate would take it it was a two door, almost exactly the same car my dad had. So I went and looked at it, two things I knew was wrong with it before I even seen the car was the headliner needed replaced in the mirror needed put back on the windshield lol. The floor pans, and trunk pans look incredible as well as the frame. The body looks amazing for being in a barn for that long. This car hasn't ran in 20 years and you could tell. So after seeing everything and talking about the price had no choice but to buy this car for 1500 dollars. So last week on Father's Day I had her towed to my house and me and my dad spent the day working on this car and brought her back to life. After taking all the preventive measures before starting it, it only took about 5 minutes for the thing to fire and run. all in all I look forward to this project and I'm sure I'll have tons of questions along the way. Thanks for letting me share!

Good looking find.Just curious ,noticed that both Quarter Mouldings are missing ,were they the "stick on " kind? Hope so, they are readily available and simple to install. Larry
