where to find spray paint to match my body color? 64/98
I want to paint the outer lip of the wheels on my 64/98. Where is the best source to find spray paint to match my body color?
My 98 is a light blue, not sure of the exact name.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can work on it this year!

Do a search on 1964 Olds paint codes - Wedgewood Mist would be a guess. Even if correct, you may not get a good match. If just looking for good enough, I would take a fender skirt into a big parts store and look through the racks of rattle can touch-up paints until I found one that was close.

If you really want a match, you need to go to a good automotive paint store, which will use a computerized scanner to get a match that is very close, and then have their "expert" eyeball it and make final corrections by hand.
Anything other than that is likely to show (at least to someone with a good eye).

Here's one possibility:

There are two type of tools(sprayers) that you can have mixed paint poured into that will allow you to spray what ever you want..Prevail Sprayer and Crown Tool. They should be available in most any automotive store.
If it were mine I would take the gas door in to the paint shop for a color match it's a lot easier to remove and re install...Tedd
