My Olds is a painted lady
When I got this car, over 3 years ago, I had to set reasonable goals.
1 Do 90-95 % of the work myself.
2. Not put twice what it will be worth into it.
3. Have a semi-rare re-painted, re-built, re-upolstered 20 foot driver.
4. 5 year time span.
Is the paint un-blemished, flawless and orange peel free? No
Am I happy with it for the cash I spent to get it here? Yes
I'll add a pic after buff and I start hanging the chrome.

So do pics from a cheap camera, and a car you have to stand almost that far away from to take a whole car pic.
It makes me feel good to get encouragement. I tend to pick at how some of the work turns out, but I would pick at it more if I paid someone too.

Hell I look good with a cheap camera and 20'. The goal was to get it all one color and shiny, which is perfect for cruisins, local car shows, and daily driving in any weather. The real perk is you won't be pissed if it gets chipped.

Thats next for mine. I fabbed and replaced 6 inches of rear lower quarters, 4 inches of lower door skin, replaced inner lower trunk lip, (had some help there), shot it in epoxy then worked on mechanicals for a while. Told myself this year if nothing else paint was going on.
