Alignment specs '60 98
Hello,
Need to get our "new" '60 98 aligned and wondering if anyone had the specs they could share so I can make sure the shop gets it right.
Many thanks in advance.

60 CSM shows same specs. It mentions that camber angle between right and left should be within 1/2 degree of each other for best handling characteristics. Keep in mind these specs are for bias ply tires...
What kind of tires are you running? If you go radials, you need a 225/75R14 which is not easy to find. I think Cooper Mastercraft and Hercules tires still make them. Reproduction bias tires look good and will drive OK IF the front end is in good condition. If there's much wear the car will be all over the road.
Steve, do y'all have a chassis service manual yet? It will be invaluable, and they've been going pretty cheap on ebay.

I know very little about suspensions, but I had to go to about 6 different shops to align my 59 and 57's .The newer shops didnt want to touch it and I ended going to a small shop where the owner was about 80 years old - in '57

That's a pretty sad truth now. Most shops "set the toe and let it go", the old timers who know how do an alignment are fading away. I used to do this work when I was younger, and at 38 I'm not ancient, maybe I should open my own shop.
