Cruise control turn signal lever

I am looking for the correct cruise control turn signal lever for my 1973 olds 98 recency, there are 2 of them on ebay they both look exactly the same except the arrow and writing pointing to the cruise button. One is part#408847 the other is 412342, does anyone know why these are different or if the both will work for my application?

Thanks Greg

I do believe the older version has the lettering colored black but I do not think that stye was available until 1971 - if you have a screw in type both of these should work. I'd be going with the cheaper one, you can find these in good used condition as well.

From gmpartswiki.com

408847 was replaced by 412342

This info was from parts book dated 1/72

My parts book from 11/79

40847

It also listed applications above

Hope this helps,

Thanks for your input both of you! I assumed if they looked the same on the ends it would work just wanted a second opinion
