family truckster part three.. a new beginning..

hey all, here is the newest member of the family.. 76 regency with 59,000 actual miles that i came across while surfing the net. after i brought the wisconsin car home and realized it needs more than a few weekends to fix her up i decided to look for another and found this one. the guy i bought it from was good friends with the original owners son and after his passing bought the car from his good friend with the intention of doing body and paint work and keeping it. after speaking with him,i was sure it was great for me to get done quickly so i drove the 95 miles from warwick ri to northford,ct to look at it. he has a nice garage at his home with a lift so as i looked it over,i was very happy with the condition of the car and knew it was right for me. the mileage is backed up with service and inspection reports from day one. he even had the window sticker and shipping docs to dealer and build sheet.. i call that a keeper! black leather interior is in great shape and you can feel the newness when you drive this fine car.. engine is super clean, can even see the ok paint stamp on the drivers side valve cover.. enjoy all!, dave

Dave,

Again, nice find! I didn't see these pics when I replied to you earlier but the leather looks like it's in great shape which is fantastic. Did I see on the window sticker that it has the factory alarm? That is a pretty rare option. Does it work? I'd love to see some pics of the dash to see what other options it has. I have the black leather in my black 98 and it really raises the bar on luxury in these cars. I have some parts around from a sedan with black leather so let me know if you need anything. It was the same colors as yours but a complete POS when I got it. I really bought it just for the seats b/c they were so nice still.

Almost forgot. Hard to tell in the pics but how are the quarter fillers? Feel free to drop another post on the page below. I'm really hoping to round up as many 98 owners as possible to pursuade them to make them for us!
