Ratty,pretty solid '72 98 sedan in Indy any1

Found this at a local used car lot. It looks like a pretty solid '72 98. Also looks pretty ratty & the glove box is completely full with a mouse house, but the power trunk still works. The orig. tilt/tele column with cruise is in where the back seat used to be. Ign switch is not damaged, so I'm not sure why it's back there?? Has a Buick column in it now. The car has sat somewhere for a long time apparently, & has had a crappy repaint at some point & some of the paint is now flying off it. Lower door panels are crap. Car looks straight & unwrecked(yet) & hasn't been molested/hacked(yet). Looks pretty orig under the hood. Heater core has been bypassed & blower motor makes a nasty sound, probably another mouse house. After cranking over for a short bit, the orig. 455 fired up & runs real quiet & smooth. Settled down to a nice idle & seems to run fine?? Has most/all power options, did not try them all. The lot told me they wanted $1,800.00 for it. I won't pay near that, but wanted to put the word on here, maybe someone can get it before it gets raped by the big rim/fugly paint/stereo crowd. It has the speedminder speedo & am-fm stereo also.

Lol, Yeah we must! I would give $800, maybe a grand if it shifts & brakes well. They are located in the hood & I'm thinking they hope to snag a dealer with some "discretionary" income. If money was no option, I'd buy it just to have around. Looks like it was pretty top of the line when new.
