Exhaust manifolds for 1973 98
Hi there,
I need exhaust manifolds for my 1973 98, and they are super hard to come by over here in Europe. The fact that a most people (myself included) do not know a lot about American cars does not help.Either they are really that rare or there must be super common reproductions available somewhere, I did not even find one at oldsobsolete.com . What other cars can I look to for parts? Does it have to be from a 455 ? Or any big block or any GM car from that year?

These guys have what you need.

I believe any dual exhaust manifolds from an Oldsmobile big block will work for your application. The 71-76 Delta 88s and 98s didn't have rear steering like the 65-70 B/C bodies did.
Of course, you could also get headers for your car if you wanted to. It may be cheaper than the Thornton reproductions.

Before you spend big $$$ at Thorntons, check with some of the people here who dismantle these cars. Oldspackrat (Scott Winn) likely has what you need at a cost savings if you don't mind used parts. BTW the 'used parts' are OEM so that means guaranteed fit. You can always restore the look of a used part to new. Here's a link to Scott. https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...=newpm&u=29498
