Fuel octane rating for '68

Got a '68 Toronado with a stock 455 rocket but upgraded to electronic ignition, any suggestions for what fuel octane or any additives to use?

The original recommended fuel for your 10.5:1 Toro motor was 102-103 RON octane (Super Premium), which which translates to roughly 97-98 AKI octane, which is what's posted on the pumps in the US & Canada.

I would suggest that you see how it goes, as it is possible you may get away with 94 pump gas, especially in the cold weather, but in reality, you may need to retard your timing or use an octane additive (I recommend Octane Supreme, which is actual tetraethyl lead, and which genuinely works, instead of screwing around with lesser additives).
