Another Hello from Germany
Hi and hello from a smal town at the river Rhine in Germany. When I spent some months in Texas in 1965 I owned a 1956 S88 4-door Holiday Coupé and from 1995 I own one again: a 2-door Coupé. There are not many 1956 Olds in Germany. Ten years ago I knew of five, I don't know how many there are now. One other with the same color as mine can be found in my neighbour town. Please see how it looked in 1995 and in 2012.

I welcome you Roland,
happy to hear that there is a increase nuber of 1956 Oldsmobile in your location.
Looks like you build up the car from scratch and you have a lot of experience.
Wating for my first Olds made in the same year.
I am in great anticipation in this car and will be more happy to have a native fan
of this nice car in this forum, espacially questions for spare parts
best regards from Frankfurt am Main

Welcome to C.O. Roland
There are quite a few folks on the site that also like the 50's cars.
You might be interested in reviewing this thread https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...owners-ck.html Some of the photobucket images are gone, but it will give you an idea of some of the folks who have/had these cars if you have questions.
Love to see more pics of your restoration. BTW, may I also suggest you take a look at USA Parts Supply? They have quite a few vintage parts for these old cars. http://www.usapartssupply.com/upload...75_catalog.pdf
