Smile New to Oldsmobile

This past summer, went to the RE OLDS museum in Okemos Michigan. Saw the 442 Vistacruiser and thought it was the coolest wagon on the planet. Wanted to get/build one. I live in Hawaii. Someone was selling their 1972 Vistacruiser here, locally, so we went to see it. They were asking $5000 for a very beat up, smoking, leaking, rusty piece of "you know what." Needless to say, we passed on that offer. I have since refocused my search to a 1970 442 hardtop. They are almost nonexistent here in Hawaii, but will continue looking none the less. Thanks for looking.

Welcome to the Oldsmobile crowd! Just to let you know your location of the museum is off, it's located on museum drive in Lansing, MI, Okemos is just slightly east of that area.

Since your from Hawaii, which island? And did you get a chance to drive here? where you may had the chance to go 70 mph legally.

I was in Maui as late as 11-11-12, not much fast driving over there! A bit more scary though.

Good luck on your quest for a 442.

Alhoa,
Pat
