I bet!!! there are a few Danish guys here, so I am sure they will chime in, and I suspect the 88 is as rare there as the Nimbus motorcycles are here

Definitely a very sharp looking car! Congrats on the purchase!
Having never been to Denmark, am wondering why the car is being shipped to Holland? How will it then get from Holland to Denmark?

Thanks .The reson it is being shipped to holland is because of only 6% tax and vat.
After it arives to holland it will be transpoted on truck to denmark(800km)

Can you import it tax free from Holland to Danmark?
You choose the country with lowest import taxes and inside the EU there is no taxes ,is that the deal?

Probably not
Hilse Martin. Velkommen til Classic Oldsmobile. Jeg er en annen amerikansk Hansen. Far min var Norsk.
I probably should write in English so you will better understand me. My Norsk/Dansk ability is getting very sad.
Congratulations on your "new" car. One of mine is a 1955 Oldsmobile.
While I cannot get a good look at the wheels in your pictures, I tend to agree with the others that they are not original to the 1956 Olds. In 1956 Oldsmobile had several possibilities. The (small) hub caps were part number 9701169. These could be used with or without a chrome trim ring, part number 3720621. Then there were two (full) wheel discs. These covered essentially the entire wheel. The "standard" one was part number 568094. The "deluxe spinner type" was part number 9701173. I have attached two images; one from the service manual, and the other from the parts book.
