Semi-new to the Forum

I purchased my 1968 Olds Cutlass S in March 2008 here in Seattle, WA. From what I understand, it had been frame-on restored about 10 years ago. It currently has a 1970 Rocket 350 and 4 speed manual transmission in it, but I have the original numbers matching engine and 3 speed transmission. I am planning on having the original engine rebuilt later this year. It is currently white, but I will be having it repainted to the original Ivory color at the time I pull the engine. Looking forward to learning more about this car from the folks on this forum, as I am always inquiring about little odds and ends that I am looking to fix to get it all back to original.

I've seen that car before! Glad you got the answer to your dash stripe question - now I know, too! Thanks!

Welcome from another Washintonian. Love your car, my first car 30 something years ago was a 68 Cutlass S coupe. Have a 69 442 now. Bring your car to the olds picnic in Tacoma, July 10th at Griot's garage. west of I-5 off of S 38th St. By the way, whichpart of Seattle are you located?

Welcome to CO! Very nice '68 convertible; but of course, I am a bit prejudiced, for some reason.
