Hello from South Texas
Hi Folks,
I am a vintage guy who has owned many cars from all out NHRA race cars to a bunch of Chevy's, but as of yesterday I finally scratched a lifelong itch to own a vintage Oldsmobile.
My Dad drove Oldsmobiles, but as much as I have hunted for a good 57 Super 88 without ever finding one I "settled" for a very nice 1964 F-85 Cutlass Holiday Coupe. Traded my 66 Chevy C20 for this one.
The car is in very nice shape as it has had a 5 year frame on "restoration". Not stock, but has a fresh slightly warm 455 with a T350 and stock rear gears.. all interior & paint is new. Also is riding on 17" Foose wheels with Michelin Pilot rubber..
Pretty nice car to start with, but of course I cannot leave it alone.. Not going to make any radical changes, just a few things that I see including EFI.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and here is one shot of the car. The white one is mine.
I will post some more pics soon,
Thirdcoast

Welcome third coast, I’m a new member also! Recently purchased a 64 F85. My dad was an Olds man back in the day also. Looking forward to your future mods. Not very tech savvy, so I hope my reply goes through!
