Northern Newb

Morning everyone...it says to introduce myself so here it goes.
Name is Tyson from southern Ontario Canada.
I don't have an Olds per se - I have Olds Parts for my Rat Rod (don't shoot).
I'm using the driveline from a 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale.
350, TH200, driveshaft and rear end.
The biggest thing I came here for was to help ID my rear end and once I get the engine and tranny all tucked into the frame, I'm sure there will be more questions.
If you are reading this and have an answer to my Rear end ID, that would be great.
The markings on the axle tube is: 2GF P089N - Pretty sure the P is for the Pontiac Plant and the 089 was the day of the year it was built and the N is for Night shift (?).
No idea what the 2GF means though.
Thanks and look forward to going through the forum!
Take care.

Hi Tyson!
Yay, another Canuck. Your differential looks like a Chevy 10 bolt 7.5" rear. Send Monzaz (Jim Mitschke) a private message. He specializes in differentials and could give you all the info you need about it.

If you're putting a 350 in the car, I would avoid the TH200 as its weak. Choose a 200 4R instead. It's more common and has more parts support.
