Another Newb Saying "Hi"...
What's up, people!
I just joined up because I'm about to start tearing into my 1958 Olds for a frame off-restoration. I just left the chromer's shop (verne's chrome in Gardena) where I dropped off my bumpers and a bunch of sheet-metal for powder coating. It's going to be a slow and steady build but I do want to see this thing back on the road as soon as possible, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are some initial pictures for you guys to enjoy. I know she's rough right now but we'll see how she looks in a couple years:

Actually that car looks to be in pretty good shape. Welcome to CO and keep us updated. After your five obligatory posts in this forum you can start yourself a thread about your car and keep a running story on it in major projects/builds forum.

The next time I get up there to work on it, I think I'm going to pull the front fenders, wheel wells and some other odds and ends for powder coating. After I get all that out, pulling the engine and trans should be a lot less complicated. (let's hope)

Welcome to the site. Nice to see another 50's Olds. I have a 57 that I installed a 455, turbo 400 and just finished a disc brake conversion so I will enjoy watching you build yours. Good luck

Sounds like an impressive build.
I'm not planning on going too elaborate with this resto. I'm going to keep it pretty much stock. Although, I might throw a J-2 intake on top...
