FNG here
New guy here, been on here a few times looking for answers and was not once disappointed, im 19 years old and my first car is a 1976 Olds Cutlass Supreme, base model, 350 with turbo 350, bought it in 2014 with 57XXX miles, now bridging over 77XXX, think shes running highway 2.56 rear end because ole Jill here aint got the tow package and shes ungodly slow. Anyway, ive got a good lead on an engine, its a 1974 455 block and heads with 425 crank and rods, so decent compression ratio but smog heads. Heres a pic of the ole girl.

Welcome. Be aware that the 425 crank and rods require the use of 425 pistons due to the different compression height. Also, you'll need a 1964-67 flexplate since the crank flange bolt pattern is different from 64-67 to 68-up motors.
