I just bought this 'little' car. 33K what appears to be original miles. It is my daily driver and I had no idea so many people like this year car. I get comments everywhere I go. I bought her some new shoes and enjoy taking her to the office every day. Question #1 What do you think about adding cruise control (factory style) and where could I get the full set-up? Question #2 Where can I get a new blue dash lens that goes above the vent/ac/thermostat sliders? Question #3 Something popped when I was putting up the electric top and the passenger side sagged. The motor still pulls the driver's side up, but not evenly. I had someone assist to pull the top up and into place. I haven't put it down since. I look forward to hearing from the crowd.

It's a beautiful looking car. I remember when they were new. My chem prof had one that was 455 equipped and he said it was a very thirsty brute but was good for power and comfortable to drive.

re: Cruise. Yes cruise will help especially if you're planning to use it on the highway a lot. OEM NOS is almost non existent for these cars now. I have one (NOS) that I'm holding for a project. Just to give you an idea of cost, I paid over 600.00 for it back in 2007. I guess the question is how stock you want to keep the car looking.

The blue lenses are not reproduced either. The only way you're going to get those is via web search or boneyard. The donor cars are 1971-73 Delta 88, Ninety Eight, or Custom Cruiser. I just did a quick web search (Desert Valley Auto Parts) and saw this car 1973 Delta 88 Maybe you could look through their inventory or phone and ask if they have the parts you are looking for.

No idea what happened with your top, but someone here will likely know the answer.

Thank you Allan. Funny thing is I called on that Junk Yard. He said the plastic from the desert heat has likely destroyed it. I asked him to see if the Delta 88 emblem from the passenger quarter panel was available and he has never called me back. I will try him again. Talk again Soon.

Thinking about your convertible top, possibly one of the hydraulic pistons has gone on you. Not sure if that will cause a leak of fluids or not so you might want to check on floor boards by the rear seat? Or maybe pull the rear seat out and watch the pistons move to see if that is the problem.
