Greetings all, just signed on today. My love for old classics directed me here. Learning more about 1970-1972 variations of the Cutlass. Sure to have questions during this process. Have owned my 65 Corvette since I retired from the Army in 2007.

Welcome to the site Harold.
The 'variations' are called Models.
1970
f85
Cutlass
Cutlass S
Cutlass Supreme
442
Vista Cruiser
Cutlass Cruiser.
1971
Same as 1970
1972
Same except 442 no longer a model. Just an appearance and handling package unless you got one with U,X or V code.
Most of the model lines were distinguished by different interior trims, and to some degree exterior appearance items.

Welcome to CO Harold. I just sold my Stingray after 20 years of ownership. My age and girth are now more Olds-apparent and besides nothing drives like an Olds, especially a fiberglass car.
